Tom, Dick, and Harry film Sequels :

A sequel, named Tom, Dick, and Harry: Rock Again..., released in 2009. It was directed by Rahul Kapoor and starred a completely different cast altogether. The film featured the song "Mein Tere Pyar Mein" by Mika Singh which has been produced by Vikas Kohli at Fatlabs studio.

In 2016, another sequel goes into production directer is Deepak Tijori and starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Aftab Shivdasani, Sharman Joshi, Sana Khan, Pooja Chopra and Amyra Dastur.

Critics review :

The film reviews are mostly mixed from critics.

Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama gave only 1 star from 5 star and criticize the film by writing that "The choice of the story and screenplay is what acts as a major turn-off, the music is the only saving grace. Dino Morea tries hard, but in vain. His timing is just not right. Jimmy Shergill doesn't deliver either. And why is he looking pale at most times? Anuj Sawhney is excellent and is the best performer in the crowd. He's a complete natural. Celina is wasted. Kim Sharma will be loved by the commoners. Gulshan Grover is efficient as the weird don. On the whole, Tom Dick and Harry is too weak a fare to leave any impression whatsoever".

Nikhil Kumar of Apunkachoice.com called the film "Silly, childish humour, poor script and shoddy direction mark the triple whammy for Tom Dick And Harry, which is tripe of a film. The movie's director Deepak Tijori ought to know that childish buffoonery is not synonymous to comedy".

Story of the film:

The story revolves around a group of college students studying in Mumbai. Siddharth (Dino Morea) is the leader of the group, and he is in love with a senior student named Sherry (Rinke Khanna). However, Sherry is already in a relationship with Rahul (Sanjay Suri), a rich and popular student who has his own fan club in college.

One day, the group decides to put up a play on the theme of love. Siddharth writes the play, and everyone in the group contributes to it. During the rehearsals, Siddharth and Sherry get closer, and they eventually start dating. However, Rahul is not happy with their relationship, and he tries to create problems between them.

Meanwhile, a new student named Ruby (Apurva Agnihotri) joins the college. She is a singer and a guitarist and becomes an instant hit among the students. Siddharth and Ruby become friends, and Siddharth starts to develop feelings for her. Sherry becomes jealous of their friendship and feels that Siddharth is neglecting her.

During the college fest, Rahul creates a situation where Siddharth and Sherry have a fight, and they break up. Ruby, who has also fallen in love with Siddharth, tries to console him and tells him that true love always finds a way. Siddharth realizes his mistake and decides to apologize to Sherry. In the end, Siddharth and Sherry reconcile, and the group performs their play to a packed audience.

Story of the film :

Alisha (Priyanka Chopra) is the most beautiful girl on campus with plenty of admirers in Ankert University, California . Abhay (Uday Chopra) is in love with her, although she is unaware of his existence. One night Alisha is partying with her friends and accidentally falls into a river. Abhay jumps in and rescues her from drowning, but her friends take her away before she regains consciousness. Abhay is further prevented from seeing Alisha the next day when her outraged father comes and removes her from college.

Abhay nurses dreams of Alisha for seven years as he moves on with his life. He invents a revolutionary software program that cross integrates all operating systems. He meets with an investor to try to sell it, and he excuses himself to call his father and ask for advice. While he is gone, the investor copies the files onto a drive and steals them. 

Abhay discovers that this investor is the immoral software salesman Siddharth 'Siddhu' Singh (Dino Morea), and he is now marketing the stolen software to a Singapor base firm as his own invention. Abhay goes to Singapore to confront Siddhu and sees Alisha at the company headquarters where she works as its PR representative. 

Abhay follows her home. Due to a misunderstanding, she mistakes him for a nursemaid she was expecting from an employment agency. She is divorced with an unruly daughter named Tanya (Advika Yadav) and in search of another nanny, as Tanya drives every one away. Abhay decides to become Tanya's nanny and keeps his identity a secret to stay close to Alisha.

Abhay takes care of the house mostly by paying contractors to clean it and eventually wins over Tanya when he buys her the Rockband video game so she can become a rockstar. Tanya nicknames him "Froggy" because of his nerdy looks. Things become complicated when Siddhu shows up trying to romance Alisha and sells the stolen software to her company. 

Abhay finds out that Siddharth's real name is Varun Sanghvi and tries to hide from Varun even while he grows closer to Alisha. She confides in Abhay, and he dresses her up in glasses and old clothes to show her how differently people are treated when they appear to be unattractive. Alisha feels sorry for Abhay.

As the launch date for the software approaches, Abhay is unmasked by Varun who claims he is a delusional stalker and was never a nanny. Alisha is angry that he lied and orders Abhay out of the house without giving him a chance to explain.

She finds out from her daughter that Abhay is the mysterious person who rescued her in college; she realizes that when Abhay told her about the girl he loved in college for seven years, he was talking about her.

Alisha finds Abhay and apologizes to him saying that she has fallen in love with him. Abhay tells her that he created the software Varun is taking the credit for. They rush to the software launch to stop Varun who is easily discredited when he doesn't know the password to Abhay's software. Abhay is able to prove that it is his creation by entering the password. Abhay tells Alisha that she already knows the password: It is her name: A-L-I-S-H-A. Finally Alisha and Abhay live happily with Tanya.
