Dharmendra and Bob Anthony injured themselves during the shooting of an action scene on 14th October at Verma stud farm. Bob Anthony had to be administered stitches on his hand. It was to have been Dharmendra's last shooting day for Mafia film.

The song Roop Suhana Lagtha hain was a direct copy of Ottagathai Kattiko from the original film The Gentleman. The same song was sampled for the song Dil Mera Deewana Dhadke from the movie Mafia.

Story of the film :

Ajay Saxena(Sunny Deol) and Abdul(Sudesh Berry) are working together in Indian Secret Service Agents, They are not only co-workers, but also live like brothers and family. Their Chief (Navin Nischol) asks Abdul to take charge of Project M, dealing with India's nuclear capability for defense, while Ajay proceeds on a vacation to Switzerland.

Aatank film is a 1996 Bollywood  action-thriller film Directer is Prem Lalwani, Desh Mukherjee and Producer is Prem Lalwani.

The film leading stars cast are Dharmendra, Vinod Mehra, Hema Malini, Amjad Khan, Ravi Kissen and Nafisa Ali. It is inspired by the Hollywood film Jaws as it has a sub-plot with a killer shark. 

The film started production in the mid 80's and was delayed for several years and released in 1996. By the time of its release, two of its cast members Vinod Mehra and Amjad Khan had died. Most of the movie features a younger Dharmendra and Hema Malini, but one scene features a much older Dharmendra and Hema Malini, resulting in a continuity error. As Amjad Khan expired in 1992, the dubbing for his voice has been done by a mimic artist.

The film leading stars cast are Vinod Khanna, Sunil Shetty, Amrish Puri, Danny Denzongpa, Gautami, Arun Govil, Anjali Jathar, Lakshmikant Berde.

Vinod Khanna was kept out of the film's cassettes and CD cover's due to the producer feeling his star status was slowly declining. Neelam was signed for the film but then dropped for the producer Suresh Grover's future wife, Priya Verma (Priyali). Priya then decided to not work in the film and Anjali Jathar was signed.

Major controversy carried out after the film released. Sunil Shetty was cheated by producer Suresh Grover. Suresh had sold a still (picture) from the film of Sunil Shetty with a whiskey bottle to a whiskey company. Sunil was angry about this because he never agreed to endorse any alcohol brand.

Producer Suresh Grover was angry with Anu Malik for composing another version of Macarena for Sohail Khan's Auzaar. Anu kept this bit of information from him. This caused him to replace Malik with Nadeem Shravan for the shelved film Juaa.

Dhaal film story :

Inspector Varun Saxena (Vinod Khanna) successfully capture Pilot Baba's (Amrish Puri) son for running over and killing Deodhar (Arun Govil), a fellow police inspector. But Pilot's cleverly advocate, Indrajit Diwan (Danny Denzongpa), proves him innocent, and he is set free.

When Varun confides of his frustrations with his garage-mechanic friend, Suraj (Sunil Shetty), he decides to study law and assist Varun. Later Varun arrests Suraj for attempting to rape Mrs. Deodhar (Kunika) and is put in prison.

Subsequently, Mrs. Deodhar is killed and the evidence points to Varun who is also arrested, charged and imprisoned in the same prison as Suraj, who cannot wait to avenge his humiliation.

As time progresses Varun himself gets involve for murdering a huge number of school children, is discharged and sent to prison where he clashes with Suraj and must work a way out that will bring justice for themselves.
