• Production starets in 2015 but film got delayed for a year due to casting issues.Earlier Asin was offered lead role of But she was declined the lead role as she did not wanted to act after marriage.

• This film is Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput's first time working together. Sushant Singh and Kirti Sanon fall in love on sets of the film and this will hurts Sushant's Old Girlfriend Ankita Lokhande.
• Rajkumar Rao plays a character of 324 year old person.
• "Raabta" Name is inspired from a song titled "Raabta" from movie Agent Vinod (2012) composer is Pritam who also happens to be the composer of this movie.
• During That time Sushant Singh declined Half Girlfriend as dates were clashing with this film.
