Apne Movie Story
Baldev Choudhary, a former Olympic medalist in boxing, suffers embarrassment while vying for the World Heavyweight Championship after being falsely accused of doping by a betting ring. By raising his son, Angad, he attempts to remove this stain from his reputation, but financial constraints prevent them from realising their goal, straining their bond. Karan, the younger son of Baldev and a budding musician with a paralysed arm, recently released his debut studio album.
Baldev prepares a local youth for a media-hyped TV boxing competition, but at the last minute, a better coach replaces him. Baldev is highly sad by this, and Karan oppose him by controlling his emotional paralysis. Karan gives up his own desire of a musical career after learning that his father suffers from depression in order to become a boxer and gratify him. Karan keeps at his training and succeeds in a number of fights, believing that success will reunite his family.
The current heavyweight world champion is the opponent in the decisive match; Karan is duped and left disabled in a hospital bed as a result. Baldev, who sought to remove a stigma, would soon lose his son. After Karan exposes that the heavyweight world champion had committed fraud, Angad vows to pick up boxing again and defend his father's crown. Despite suffering serious injuries as well in the boxing battle, Angad manages to pull through and prevail. Karan is suffering from liver disease and needs a liver to survive.
Baldev begs the physicians to utilise his liver but is rejected after feeling a twinge of guilt. By fortunate coincidence, Karan receives a liver from an unidentified donor. Baldev, who was readyto giving up his life for Karan, is finally found to be alive with his family.
