Auzaar film story :
Yash Thakur (Sanjay Kapoor) and Suraj Prakash (Salman khan) Pratna(Shilpa Shetty) who are become friends in the college. Yash´s father (Paresh Rawal) is a leading man in underworld crime and is constantly at loggerheads with his arch rival Bhaiji (Kiran Kumar).
After College Suraj Become police officer, discovers that Yash's, father (Paresh Rawal), runs an illegal business.
Their friendship become worsens when Suraj who is now a CBI officer is assign with the task of curbing the criminal activities of Yash who is heading his father's mafia empire, How Suraj caught Yash's Father without affecting friendship is the Climax of the film.

Pre-Production and Casting :
Sohail Khan initially wanted Aamir Khan for Sanjay Kapoor's role, but he declined it for unknown reasons. Then Sohail Khan approached Sanjay Dutt for the role, but he was busy with Daud at that time. Sunny Deol was too approached for the role along with Sanjay Dutt. Kajol was offered the female lead, but declined. Shilpa Shetty finally selected for the role.

The film's Music album composer is Anu Malik while Lyrics writer are Indivar,Rahat Indori,Qateel Shifai.
The song "I Love You, I Love You" was reportedly plagiarized from Pakistani Qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's "Allah Hoo, Allah Hoo".
Khan was reportedly aggrieved when Malik turned his spiritual "Allah Hoo, Allah Hoo" into "I Love You, I Love You". Khan stated that "He has taken my devotional song Allahu and converted it into I love you. He should at least respect my religious songs."
"Dil Le Le Lena" is also copied from Macarena by Los del Río.
