Kabul Express film is a Bollywood Adventure comedy drama movie writer & directer is documentary film maker Kabir Khan and producer is Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films.
The film leading stars cast are John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Pakistani actor Salman Shahid, Afghan actor Hanif Hum Ghum and American actress Linda Arsenio.
Kabul Express is the first fictional film for director Kabir Khan who has made several documentaries over the years in Afghanistan. According to him Kabul Express is loosely based on his and his friend Rajan Kapoor's experiences in post-taliban Afghanistan.
Kabul Express film is released on 15th December, 20006 with Positive critics reviews and also Box office wise successful film. The film had also four world releases, in Dubai, London, Pusan and Toronto, at their respective Film Festivals.
The cast and crew were sent death threats by the Taliban to force them to stop shooting, but the Afghan government provided tight security to enable film shooting to be done safely. Some days, there would be more armed soldiers than cast and crew on location for a shoot.

Review of the film :
Kabul express film reviews are mostly positive , few Critics appreciated Directorial debut Kabir Khan efforts make movie on different subject that Bollywood rarely make the film and also criticize the film by making Half Hearten approach of the makers.
Taran Adarsh from Bolywood Hungama Gave 2.5 star from 5 star and stated that "On the whole, KABUL EXPRESS is aimed at the elite and the thinking audience. A well crafted thriller, the film has better chances at multiplexes mainly. However, the liberal usage of English and Afghani languages will restrict its appeal to urban centres in India. At the single screens, the film will find the going very, very tough since there's nothing for the aam junta."
