Dude, Where's the Party film Story
Living with his uncle, the best friend of his father, Harishkumar Satishkumar Patel (Sunil Malhotra) is a geeky student from a small Gujarati hamlet attending the University of Houston. Mohan Bakshi (Kal Penn), Hari's age, is the American-born son of his uncle, Dr. Bakshi. Mohan, also referred to as Mo, is a well-liked Indian student at UH. After giving Hari a tour of the college, he avoids interacting with him due to Hari's geeky tendencies.
In the meantime, a holy man's astrological prophecy has Hari excessively thrilled. The well-known astrologer predicted that Hari would meet the girl of his dreams, Sapno Ki Raani, in America and that her name would start with the letter "P". After that, Hari meets and falls in love with Priya (Tina Cherian), a Malayali student of fashion. Meanwhile, Mo develops feelings for a Punjabi girl named Janvi Valia (Serena Varghese), but when Mo asks Janvi to a party, things don't work out as expected. At the end of the movie, Hari succeeds in overcoming his obstacles, and Mo gains valuable insight into his culture. The main focus of this movie is its humorous depiction of young Indian Americans moving through life.
