Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe is an Indian Hindi romance,thriller movie directer by Vinay Shukla released on 11 January 2002, starring Aftab Shivdasani and introducing Esha Deol, the daughter of famous actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, in the lead roles. Sanjay Kapoor is featured as the villain. Jaya Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Juliet Alburque, Jaspal Bhatti and Rajpal Yadav are featured in supporting roles. The film is a remake of 1997 Telugu movie Pelli and 1998 Tamil movie Aval Varuvala, which were based on the 1980 Malayalam movie Manjil Virinja Pookkal and 1991 Hollywood thriller Sleeping with the Enemy.
