Critics reviews :

  • Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama gave 2 star out of 5 star and stated that "K.V. Guhan's cinematography is top class, Dialogues are simple, but gel beautifully with the mood of the film. The background score deserves special marks.Kareena Kapoor is the soul of KHUSHI. Fardeen Khan's performance that's a revelation. Amrish Puri is extremely likeable. Johny Lever's role lacks substance. On the whole, KHUSHI has several engaging moments to appeal to the youth and family audiences. But the impending World Cup cricket matches will prove a major deterrent. Yet, business at multiplexes/'A' class theatres of metros should prove to be the best. "
  • Omar Ahmed from Empire gave 3 star out of 5 star and writes that "The second half needs to be rewritten, matching the quality of the first."
  • M. Ali Ikram from Planet Bollywood gave 6 star out of 10 star and mentioned that "Khushi´s unlikely to find long-term favour with most folks in the audience. There are parts that are good, parts that are bad, but in the grand scheme of things, there´s really little Khushi to be had."

Review of the film

This film reviews are mostly negative from critics and also Box office wise Flop film.

Critics reviews

  • Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama gave 2 star from 5 star and stated that "Music is functional, with 'Chad Gayee' and 'Chori Chori' being the pick of the lot. The background score is effective. Cinematography is sparkling.Sunny Deol is in full form, Suniel Shetty is excellent playing an anti-hero, Ajay Jadeja does not deliver at all.Celina Jaitley looks gorgeous, but needs to work on her acting abilities. On the whole, KHEL film is a fair entertainer its target audience being the masses, not critics or multiplex-going audience. At the box-office, the holiday period will help the film take a good start and eventually, it will find patronage in the interiors.
  • Anjum N from rediff.com on film reviewing stated that "Editor-turned-director Yusuf Khan does a fair job, but is handicapped by a story that has no suspense, twists or unpredictable, manipulative characters. But, having written the story himself, he cannot blame anyone else if his 'ultimate game' fails to take off."

This film reviews are mostly negative from critics.

Critics reviews :
  • Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama gave 1.5 star from 5 star and stated that "Sonu Nigam gives a fair account of himself, Juhi Babbar overall performance is first-rate. Om Puri is excellent. Raj Babbar is, like always, efficient. Sharad Kapoor enacts his part with utmost conviction. Vivek Shauq stands out. Overall, The film is an ordinary fare. At the box-office, the film will face rough weather due to a strong opposition in the form of World Cup. Had the film released at a more appropriate period and without oppositions, the prospects would've been better."
  • Sukanya Verma from rediff.com on film reviewing writes that "The best thing about the film is Manmohan Singh's cinematography. Juhi Babbar makes a decent debut. She exudes confidence and has powerful dialogue delivery. Sonu Nigam  is a fabulous singer but as an actor, he lacks both talent and screen. The film story is predictable in nature and wanting in content, the film is a relentless exercise in boredom."
  • IMDB Public reviewing site gave 5 star out of 10 star.
  • Times of India user's gave 3 star from 5 star.
