Jism film is a 2003 Bollywood erotic thriller movie editor and directer is Amit Saxena, writer is  Mahesh Bhatt, producer are Pooja Bhatt and Sujit Kumar Singh under the banner Fish Eye Network Ltd and Shreya Creations.

The film leading star cast are Bipasha Basu and John Abraham, the latter making his début in Bollywood films.

John Abraham and Bipasha's Basu's voice was dubbed for the film. This movie received an "A" certificate due to the sexual scenes.

Jism film was released on 17 January 2003 with positive critics reviews and also become Hit at the Box office. Film started a trend of making bold films in Hindi cinema.

This movie was inspired by Body Heat (1981), which in turn was inspired by the 1944 Billy Wilder directed movie Double Indemnity (1944).

The poster for the movie Jism is heavily inspired by the famous Dolce & Gabbana ad featuring Giselle Bundchen that appeared in the late 90's.

The film music composer is M. M. Keeravani under the pseudonym M. M. Kreem, while lyricist are Neelesh Misra and Sayeed Quadri. 

The film music album was released on 18 December 2002.According to the Indian trade website Box Office India, around 1.5 million units of this soundtrack were sold. Songs mainly Jadu Hai Nasha Hai and Aawarapan were become highly popular in masses.

The film review are Mostly mix to Positive from Critics

Critics reviews :

• Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama gave 2 star out of 5 Star and stated that "Supermodel John Abraham makes a confident debut. Although the cinematographer hasn't done complete justice to his looks, the actor rises beyond his looks and registers a strong impact with his performance, more so towards the second half. His dashing looks and excellent physique only add to his persona. But the real show stealer is Bipasha Basu her sexy look and seductive deep voice, in contrast with her cold and calculating personality, makes her the most impressive femme fatale. Gulshan Grover is quite alright. Anahita Uberoi is superb in a small, but significant role. On the whole, JISM exhibits Bipasha Basu's talent and anatomy to its fullest. Coupled with a hot title and eroticism in plenty, the curiosity-value for the film increases manifold. But the subject and its treatment being city-centric, the film will appeal more to the big city audience. The reasonable price at which it is sold at should prove to be advantageous. "
