Astitva is a 2000 bilingual film made simultaneously in Marathi and Hindi, writter and directer by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film tells the story of a happily married wife who suddenly inherits a large fortune from her music teacher and her puzzled husband who questions its source. Astitva won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi in the year 2000.
