Production
When Sadanand revealed the title of his new movie to his friends, they were shocked and referred to him as crazy.Sadanand went to Lokhandwala and questioned ten random individuals about the title's recall potential in order to determine whether or not people would be able to remember it.
He set up an acting workshop rather than picking actors through a screen test. After this session, Kapoor and Nigam were decided upon. Additionally, he used Mukherjee, who he had seen at an award show. Without any prior planning, the sequence in the movie where she is seen against the setting sun was filmed. The movie was Nigam's first.

Review of the film:
"Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao" is a Bollywood film that was released in 2004. It's a light-hearted romantic comedy that primarily targets a young audience. Here's a review of the film:
Positives:
Youthful Vibes: The film successfully captures the essence of college life and the dreams and aspirations of young adults. It's relatable for anyone who has experienced the joys and challenges of college.
Catchy Music: The soundtrack of the film, composed by Vishal-Shekhar, is a highlight. The songs are peppy and catchy, adding to the overall entertainment value of the movie.
Good Performances: The cast, including Aakash, Tanishaa Mukerji, and Rashmi Nigam, deliver decent performances. They portray the energy and enthusiasm of college students well.
Negatives:
Predictable Plot: The film follows a fairly predictable storyline with the love triangle between the main characters. It doesn't offer much in terms of originality or unexpected twists.
Limited Appeal: "Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao" is primarily targeted at a younger audience. Older viewers may find it less engaging or relatable.
Lack of Depth: While it aims to be a light-hearted comedy, the film could have explored its characters and themes more deeply. It remains surface-level in its treatment of friendship, love, and pursuing dreams.
Box Office Performance: The film didn't perform exceptionally well at the box office, indicating that it may not have resonated with a wide audience.
In summary, "Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao" is an average Bollywood film that offers some entertainment value, particularly for younger viewers who can relate to the college-centric theme and enjoy the catchy music. However, it falls short in terms of offering a truly unique or memorable cinematic experience and may not be everyone's cup of tea.
Box office collection
"Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao" was not a major box office success in India.
It had a relatively modest performance at the box office.
Unfortunately, the film's exact box office figures are not readily
available in my knowledge up to September 2021.
Since the film did not
make a significant impact at the box office, it likely had lower
earnings compared to some of the more successful Bollywood releases
during that time.
