Critics reviews :
- Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama gave 3.5 star out of 5 star and writes that "GOLMAAL - FUN UNLIMITED promises laughter and entertainment unlimited. A thoroughly enjoyable fare, the film has all it takes to hit the bull's eye. This clean comedy with no vulgarity won't just make the viewers laugh with its jokes, but also make its distributors laugh all the way to the bank."
- Ritujay Ghosh from Hindustantimes gave 3 star from 5 star and stated that "Crisp storyline and good performances do wonders for Golmaal.Golmaal is worth watching. There are two reasons why Golmaal can be termed a good film. One, it has a very neat storyline where all the actors get an equal chance to perform. Two, the story never goes out of focus. For both, the credit goes to debutant director Rohit Shetty who has aptly exploited the potential of his actors.Paresh Rawal, who always gives the impression that no one could have done better, leaves an impression on the audience with his role of a fun-loving man with a painful personal life. Rimii, who has a small role, does not disappoint and performs when she gets a chance."
- Anupama Chopra from Indiatoday on film reviewing stated that "This Golmaal has none of the genteel wit of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 1979 classic. It is unapologetically loud, lowbrow and riotously funny. The lunacy, scripted by Neeraj Vora, is inspired and the lead actors run with the madcap one liners."
